Bio
Gregg was born and raised in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love. He studied photography and film at the Norden Fjord World University in Denmark before transferring to Hampshire College where he completed his BA.
He started his professional life in New York cutting a combination of documentaries (“Brown Sugar”, “Crisis in the Workforce”), music videos (Anita Baker, The Cars, Devo ), and concerts (Carly Simon, The Beach Boys, Newport Jazz Festival). While in New York he also worked with the artists Andy Warhol, Mary Lucier and Robert Wilson.
Gregg has worked on several TV series including “Homicide: Life On the Street”, “New York News’, and “The West Wing”.His feature credits include “Music of the Heart,” “Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe,” “Texas Rangers,” and the Project Greenlight film “Stolen Summer”.
He has received both Emmy and Cable Ace nominations for editing.
Gregg is married to Alysha Cohen, also an editor. Their first child, Eva, was born in November 2004 and Gregg's a proud papa.
