Biography
SUSAN LITTENBERG (editor) recently received an ACE Eddie Award nomination for editing the comedy “Easy A” in 2010. Also released in 2010 was the acclaimed “And Everything is Going Fine,” a documentary she cut about Spalding Gray directed by Steven Soderbergh. She has edited many Studio comedies including “$5 a Day” starring Christopher Walken, “Bride Wars,” “Charlotte’s Web,” and “A Lot Like Love.” She edited the hit comedy “13 Going on 30” directed by Gary Winick. Susan previously edited Winick’s independent feature “Tadpole” which won Best Director at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001. Susan edited “Jump Tomorrow,” a comedy feature which won a British Academy Award on 2002 for a first time filmmaker and the music documentary “The Ballad of Ramblin’ Jack,” which won a Special Jury Prize for Artistic Achievement at Sundance in 2000. Feature credits as an editor also include “Easter,” “Henry Hill” (a.k.a. “Play For Me”) and Spalding Gray’s “Gray’s Anatomy” directed by Steven Soderbergh. Susan was the associate editor on Soderbergh’s “Solaris.”
As an Assistant editor she worked with Hal Hartley, Ang Lee, Paul Auster and Jim Jarmusch. Teaching experience includes The Edit Center in NY, The Maine International Film Workshops and the MFA program at The City College of New York.
